A Perfect Day At The Zoo

I visited the El Paso Zoo last November 29th, 2013, after a two year absence.  The weather could not have been more perfect, clear skies and temperature just right.  The zoo looked so much better than it did when I last visited.  The last time I was there it was undergoing renovation and adding exhibits.  It turned out great.  There are three main sections in the zoo, Asia, Africa and Americas regions.  It is so neat to walk from one continent to another seeing animals endemic to that region.  The animals looked well fed and healthy and the park was clean and looked well kept.  All in all it was a real pleasure and made me wonder why it took me so long to revisit.
