The west side of El Paso has many hidden treasures that are held very dear by its residents, beginning with the Franklin Mountain State Park, which holds various hiking and biking trails. Living on the West side of El Paso means that most homes have some sort of view weather it is facing the Franklins or towards the upper Valley area, which nestles the Rio Grande that has a walking trail and even horse riding in certain areas is permitted.
