What is the difference between a client and a customer?
In a real estate transaction, it's easy for people to be confused about their relationships with everyone involved. The term "agent" is often used simply to describe a real estate professional, but the reality is that professional may not be "your" agent. In an open house, for example, the real estate licensee in the home most likely represents the seller and if you aren't represented by someone else they may be working with you as a customer. The table below shows the differences between customer level service and client level service.
