The North East part of El Paso will soon see many more amenities in the near future. While change can be a good thing for some, for others it can be controversy. The talks and sometimes even arguments about the new triple a baseball team are far from over now that the city has yet to determine what to do with Cohen Stadium. The stadium was seen unfit for the new team franchise by the Mountain Star Sports Group after much consideration. Now that the Diablos who used to call this home have already played through their contract, the city is now trying to determine the future of the 50 acre site. City manager Joyce Wilson will brief City council members in executive session behind closed doors on after she has stated that multiple proposals have been laid out on the table. These proposals remain to be known.

Rumors have been floating around that a new waterpark might call the property home which will change the entire dynamic of the area. El Paso will slowly start to see a transformation that will bring interest to El Paso real estate.
