The New Year Is Coming

As we end this year I am reminded how much can change when you work hard. It can be a new job, a new home, a bigger family, etc. The most important thing to remember is to do the  things that make you happy. Easier said than done? Well it is not! Just like any goal you set you have to set smaller goals to reach the big one. This practice helps with your confidence in reaching the main goal. The smaller goals should directly impact the larger goal. Just as in real estate when you are looking for a home. Here are the goals I recommend when wanting to purchase a new home.

BIG GOAL: New home.

Little goals:

Get approved for what you can afford

Find a Realtor that will work for you

Find area best for you and your family

Narrow down what kind of home is right for you

Place a contract on that home

These are simple and widely used goals when purchasing a home. What you need to see is that these goals are obtainable and contribute to the greater goal. The more little goals you complete the more confident you become. The more confidence you have in yourself the more confidence you have with the overall BIG GOAL.

So if it is a new home or a new path you are going to take in 2016. Be sure to let the little guys help out in the process.
