The Va Loan program is not just for regular military service.  Not many Reservists and National Guard veterans are aware, that they too can own a home through the VA.. The VA loan program is an incredible benefit to those who are eligible. It's important for servicemen and women to understand their eligibility requirements to take advantage of the benefits of a VA loan offer.

The Va loan is issued through the federal government's approved mortgage lenders and backed by the federal government. The program allows service members and veterans to either finance up to 100% of their homes or to buy a new home with no money down.

Many of the Reservists and National Guard may be eligible if they meet one of the qualifications. Serving six years in selected reserve, honorably discharged, retired, or transferred to ready reserve after honorable service.

These are just a few of the qualifications for Reservists and National Guard. Contact the Va to learn more about the loan program and to see about your eligibility.
